We are in need of further economic analyses of the fishing industry and its influence on other areas in the region’s economies. This project, through a newly formed network of economists, will consider the economic ripple effects of fishing. The project’s goal is to create an economic model, which is grounded in the institutions that manage fisheries in each country.
