Throughout history, the North Atlantic territories have repeatedly been embroiled in conflicts over power and resources. During a three-day conference to be held in Nuuk, a number of researchers from Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Greenland and the Faroes will draw one portrait of the state of affairs in the region from 1721 to 2050. Thus, the conference will both draw a picture of the region’s challenges and possibilities in a historic and prospective light.
